The purpose of this IFB is to contract with a qualified firm to provide professional services for the fabrication of a graphically unified system of directional and identification signs along the Minuteman bikeway in Lexington Massachusetts. The designs for each of the signs are attached to this bid. The goals of the project are: To fabricate a cohesive signage and wayfinding system that directs bikeway users to businesses along the Minuteman Bikeway, which include but are not limited to Lexington Center, Hartwell Avenue, Parker Meadow, Camila Place and other locations for a maximum of 12 locations and 18 signs as highlighted in Appendix C/D. Signs can be varied by nature, but are considered one of five categories: o Kiosk – Lexington Center o Kiosk – K2 o Directional – D3 o Directional – D1 o Identity – ID1 To increase the number of people exiting the bikeway across Lexington To provide greater awareness of the offerings available in Lexington
