The Design scope for each BPS includes, but is not limited to: • Data collection and final assessment, including geotechnical and soil corrosivity investigation and coordination with City’s Asset Management team. • Hydraulic and transient modeling analysis for each station. • Design services for civil, mechanical, structural, architectural, electrical and I&C for the refurbishment project which includes preliminary and final basis of design report, 30%, 60%, 90% and for construction design plans and specifications. • Develop opinion of probable construction cost at various milestones. • Coordinate with various utilities, permitting and regulatory agencies as required for obtaining necessary permits. • Coordinate with Operations for planned shutdown and attend City shut-down operational meetings, as required. • Coordinate with CMAR during design development, including assisting with GMP development, review and preparing recommendation for the City. • Assist with public outreach if required.
