The County expects the locations to be clean and neat in appearance and not in a manner that reflects poorly on Dawson County. Vendor is expected to provide temporary traffic control signage for the work zone. Mowing/Trimming/Edging/Blowing Lawn areas will be mowed and clippings removed bi-weekly from April 1 to November 30 each contract year. Lawn areas will be mowed and clippings removed during monthly visits in December, January, February and March each contract year. Blow off any debris from lawn service. Roadway must be clear of any debris from lawn maintenance. Landscape Bed Maintenance Landscape beds will be kept free of weeds, debris, leaves and the like. Fresh mulch or pine straw must be applied once a year. New plants need to be watered and cared for throughout the contract year. Plant seasonal color, visible to motorist, twice a year, once in Spring and once in Fall. Size of beds should not be less than 100 square feet. Application of chemical treatment including post emergent is acceptable. All herbicide use shall be under the direct supervision of someone with the appropriate Commercial applicators license for Right of Way.
