Upon OHA OIP’s request,* Contractor shall provide support for OIP’s Oregon’s School Law Program’s processes and activities related to both Oregon Administrative Rules and the OIP Cooperative Agreement requirements. Contractor’s Work under the Contract shall include a wide range of activities, including but are not limited to the following: 2.4.1 Contractor shall conduct validation surveys consisting of training and compliance site visits at schools, Head Starts, preschools and daycares to assure compliance with Oregon’s immunization law. Notes: • Validation surveys are one step in a process to ensure accurate school immunization data and enforcement and compliance with Oregon’s immunization law. • Local Public Health Authorities (LPHAs) select sites for these validation surveys each year, targeting those sites for whom regular training has not been effective in helping the site achieve compliance. 2.4.2 Contractor shall perform training to meet needs of school, day care, or LPHA staff related to School Law as defined in Section 2.2. above. 2.4.3 Completing data quality activities, such as reviewing data, follow-up phone calls with day cares or schools to clarify data issues or provide reminders to submit data, and training of sites on how to submit data. 2.4.4 Working with school computer system and school staff to identify and correct the immunization component of student information systems.
