2.2. Delivery personnel acting in behalf of the bidder are to comply with the Chemical Delivery Spill Control Requirements for the Missouri River Plant, attached. 2.3.Deliveries will be made by tanker truck in quantities of approximately 5000 gallons per delivery (5200 gallons maximum). The tanker must be backed into a loading bay with a maximum height of 11’ 9” and all connections must be made inside the loading bay for the purposes of spill containment. 2.4.The delivery vehicle must provide all equipment to deliver the polymer to our storage tanks, including any pumps or air compressors, and at least 40’ of hose that will connect to a 2” male cam-lock fitting. 2.5.If air is used to pressurize the tanker for off-loading, it must be vented off at the vehicle, and may not be vented through the storage tanks. 2.6.From arrival to departure, deliveries normally require 3 to 4 hours to complete. The cost of this delivery time is to be included in the polymer bid.
