The Morrow County Courthouse Annex will be constructed on approximately 2 acres on the northwest corner of Columbia Avenue and Olson Road in Boardman, Oregon. The building is expected to be two stories tall with approximately 28,500 square feet of space. There will be a secure staff parking lot with sally port access to one side of the building and a public parking lot to an adjacent side. The first floor will have security screening at the public entry and an assembly area for Jurors. The second floor will have one Circuit Courtroom supporting Circuit Court spaces designed to the Oregon Judicial Department Courthouse Design Criteria. The building will house other Morrow County departments such as the Judicial Court and District Attorney. The sallyport will connect in-custody defendants securely through the building to the courtrooms or adjacent holding spaces.
