The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities intends to complete renovations to multiple buildings along with limited site work on the Georgia Regional Hospital located at 1915 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406. The Hospital’s Savannah Campus is comprised of 15 actively used buildings on a densely clustered campus. Building 11 has been recently renovated and is in good condition. The remainder of the campus buildings have varying degrees of need. While the complete project scope has not been finalized, the needs include HVAC replacement, plumbing, interior and exterior finish replacement and repair, and paving maintenance. The floor slab and associated flooring will need to be replaced concurrently to address the underground sanitary waste piping issue in Building 12. Likewise, to address the HVAC replacement needs, some ceiling replacement will be required. Based upon a recently completed evaluation of the buildings on the campus, the renovations to be completed could include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following scopes of work: • Replace door and hardware in space 50 in Building 10. • Interior Finishes: Replace flooring in Buildings 2A/2M, 4-10, 12, and 13. Replace interior doors in Buildings 1-5. Replace ceilings in Buildings 1-8, 10, 12-14, and 16. Patch and paint interior walls in Buildings 2A/2M, 4-6, and 10. Replace casework in Buildings 4 and 13. • Exterior Building Elements: Replace all exterior doors and refinish frames in Buildings 1, 2A/2M, 4-8, and 12-16. Repair soffits on Buildings 5, 8, and 15. Pressure wash/clean concrete columns at Buildings 1-6, 8, 10, and 12. Clean mansard roofs on Buildings 5, 7, 13, and 16. • Roof Systems: Replace roofs with a TPO roof system at Buildings 1-3, 10, and 12. • Mechanical/ HVAC: Replace HVAC systems in Buildings 1-8, 10, and 12-14. Replace ductwork and air distribution systems in Buildings 1-8, 10, and 12-14. • Plumbing: Remove Lift Station and replace with new Lift Station. Replace existing under slab sanitary lines in Building 12 and terracotta sanitary waste lines. Camera Buildings 1- 11, and 13-16 sanitary waste lines. Replace isolation valves to Buildings 1-16. Test all buildings domestic water lines for lead. • Lighting: Replace existing lighting, emergency lighting, and lighting controls with LED in Buildings 1, 2, 4-10, and 12-16. • Site Systems: Repair or replace the collapsed storm structures and piping near Buildings 1 and 11 and Building 16.
