AHCCCS, in conjunction with systems partners, and MRSS providers will be accountable for concrete outcomes that reflect the commitment to maintaining ties among children, families, and communities while delivering effective clinical care and social support services for children with emotional and behavioral disturbance. Desired outcomes include: 3.3.1 Decreased Emergency Room visits. 3.3.2 Decreased use of Crisis Stabilization Centers. 3.3.3 Decreased disruptions from foster and adoptive homes. 3.3.4 Improved clinical outcomes for children and their families. 3.3.5 Improved permanency in community placements. 3.3.6 Improved compliance with Jacob’s Law A.R.S. 8-512.01. 3.3.7 Reduced lengths of stay in residential care. 3.3.8 Reduced use of congregate care and increased use of more family-like treatment home settings. 3.3.9 Reduced re-admissions to acute psychiatric hospitals. 3.3.10 Improved crisis management and stability in living environments for children, families and caregivers. 3.3.11 Improved educational performance and overall social functioning for children with an SED/complex needs. 3.3.12 Improved satisfaction and increased participation in treatment by families and children.
