Summary:The Virginia Department of Forestry (DOF) is seeking a contractor to create and display agency supplied educational Don’t Move Firewood artwork on the highly visible billboard panel specified along Interstate 85. The work consists of utilizing existing billboard space and working with the Department of Forestry to create and display artwork educating the public about the hazards of moving firewood. This billboard must be in the high traffic location specified in the Scope of Work document. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for placing and maintaining artwork on the selected billboard for the entire months of March, April, and May 2025. Work description: The work consists of utilizing existing billboard space and working with the Department of Forestry to create and display artwork educating the public about the hazards of moving firewood. This billboard must be in the high traffic location specified below. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for placing and maintaining artwork on the selected billboard for the entire months of March, April, and May 2025. Requirements: 1. Billboard artwork shall be printed and displayed on panel number 2343, 5.5 miles South of exit 24 along Interstate 85. 2. Contractor must print, and display Don’t Move Firewood artwork provided by the Virginia Department of Forestry on billboard panel number 2343. 3. Artwork must be printed on ecoflex or vinyl, as appropriate for the billboard specified. 4. The signs must be reserved for this campaign for the entirety of March through May 2025. 5. This billboard must receive over 60,000 weekly impressions and be illuminated. 6. Billboard must be static and produced with excellent quality color artwork. 7. Pricing must be inclusive of all costs associated with billboard space rental, complete marketing, placement, installation, project management and display of the billboard specified. No extra charges will be allowed for any Contract resulting from this quick quote. 8. An example of Don’t Move Firewood artwork is included with quick quote. Final artwork will be provided to contractor before campaign begins. 9. Final approval from the Virginia Department of Forestry is required for printing materials and methods prior to award. Final approval of artwork proofs is required prior to printing. 10. The Virginia Department of Forestry reserves the right to reject any methods, materials or proofs that, in its sole opinion, will fail to meet the objectives of this solicitation.
