Business Requirements • An enterprise EHR solution to schedule, document, manage, and when appropriate, bill for the provision of the following services: o All Medicaid-billable School-Based Health Services (SBHS) outlined in the Background Information section on Page 4 o Optional: The enterprise solution includes creation and maintenance of IEPs Includes care planning, treatment planning, and intervention planning as appropriate for schoolbased services provided o Optional: The enterprise solution includes documentation for school nurse visits, including documentation of illness and injury visit notes, student health screenings, immunizations, medication logging, and Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs) If the proposed EHR solution does not encompass school nurse documentation and associated workflows, vendors should provide information on their ability to integrate with existing school nurse EHR solutions (SNAP Health Center). Page 6 of 8 Revised May 6, 2024 • An enterprise reporting module that allows individuals with appropriate access to generate various clinical, financial, and administrative reports against the data captured within the solution. • Ideally, the solution incorporates student management administrative functions such as: o Management of student demographic information, attendance management, posting of student grades and test scores, and the ability to communicate with parents/guardians via parent portal. o Optionally, the proposed solution for documenting and managing SBHS would integrate with the schools’ existing student information systems and/or integrate with the State’s API, Ed-Fi, for appropriate integration and mapping of data for Agency storage.
