West Virginia University (“WVU”, or “Owner”) is requesting Proposals to construct “Phase 1” only, a new artificial turf field at the Health Sciences Center Recreational Field located along Route 705, adjacent to the WVU Mountaineer Station parking facility. This project is to construct a new artificial turf practice field for the WVU Marching Band and will be known as “The Pride Practice Facility”. The Phase 1 work includes, but is not limited to sediment and erosion control, excavation and grading work, concrete work, artificial turf field and installation, various site utilities, landscaping, relocation of 40’ band tower, and modifications to the adjacent stormwater management pond. The Phase 2 building and Phase 3 pavilion shown on sheet G050 are NOT part of this project and this RFP.
