The City of West Hollywood (City) invites experienced branding professionals and graphic designers to submit proposals for a unified, holistic branding strategy for the Long Range Planning Division. In 2024, the Long Range Planning (LRP) Division developed a standalone branding kit for the City’s streetscape projects. The work primarily focused on the City’s Fountain Avenue Streetscape project, which required a striking and vibrant outreach branding campaign. A library of assets and materials for the project was created. The City has since used the branding kit for many events and materials extending beyond the Fountain Avenue Streetscape project. Following the success of the branding for streetscape projects, the Long Range Planning Division is seeking to develop a unified branding strategy that expands the streetscape designs into a larger universe of similarly-designed assets for the entire Division and projects within each focus area. Focus areas include but are not limited to: • Housing and Land Use • Mobility and Metro • Climate Action and Sustainability A unified branding program should broadly include the following components: • Overall Branding Guidelines (including Typology and Global Color Palette), • Brand Application Templates, • Characters and Illustrations that may cross focus areas, and • Logos (optional).
