Towing Services The Contractor shall provide towing services, which includes, but shall not be limited to, the following duties: • Towing of unauthorized, vehicles without proper parking permits, long-term storage of improperly parked, or abandoned motor vehicles of various types • Vehicles include but are not limited to: o Light: scooters, motorcycles, jet skis o Medium: any vehicle, boat, or trailer under 20 feet in length o Heavy: any vehicle, boats, or house trailer over 20 feet in length • Routine sweeps in parking lots to ensure there are not improperly parked or abandoned vehicles in red zone areas, blocking access to the parking lot, blocking other vehicles or blocking trash dumpsters. • At the request of designated LACDA management staff. • Notify and report all impounded vehicles to the local police department immediately upon removal as required by City ordinance. • Notify management of impounded vehicles per occurrence. • Towing company shall safeguard all towed and stored vehicles against damage, destruction, theft, or any other loss, and shall be responsible to the legal owner for the contents placed in storage.
