2.4 SCOPE OF WORK The Psychological Examiners are responsible for administering and interpreting psychological tests, evaluating results, developing treatment plans, and evaluating client progress. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The Contractor shall: A. Interview clients to obtain background information, including family history, education, and mental, physical, and emotional health, and prepare report indicating medical problems, educational levels, special needs, residential plans, and further assessment needs. B. Administer and score psychological tests, interpret and evaluate test results, and determine an individualized behavioral management/treatment program. C. Provide psychological counseling, cognitive behavior and psychosocial skills instruction, and behavior modification/management recommendations. D. Monitor behavior management and treatment programs, document progress or regression, modify programs, as necessary, and prepare and maintain progress reports on each client. E. Ensure progress notes are prepared and maintained on each client. F. Attend staff meetings and workshops scheduled to discuss progress/problems of clients and make recommendations regarding behavior management. G. Upon request, conduct Phase I Training for all new employees and in-service training for direct care staff. H. Upon request, supervise professional staff by interviewing, recommending for hire, assigning and reviewing work, training, and evaluating performance. I. Conduct at least monthly visits, or more if needed, to each client’s living areas and/or prevocational training areas. The Contractor shall document each visit and provide a monthly summary of all visits. J. Perform other related duties assigned by the contracted Psychologist and adheres to the chain of supervision. K. Conduct assessments as referred by BHDC. L. Services to include after-hours/weekdays/holiday phone calls to address crisis interventions.
