1. Mobilize all materials and equipment to complete the work as outlined below. Provide all labor, transportation, supplies, materials, equipment, room and board to complete the Work. 2. Project waste can not be disposed in the Community Landfill and must be back hauled out of the Community in accordance with Construction Agreement Special Conditions. 3. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, subsistence, expertise, and incidentals necessary to upgrade the East Water Storage Tank (T-2) in Point Lay, Alaska as identified in the Contract Documents. Work can be generally described but not limited to providing the following: a. Mobilization and Demobilization. b. The existing tank configuration follows. The Contractor must field verify all items required to complete the specified work. 1) Tank T-2 Dimensions: 95’-0” inside diameter by 32’-0” tall. (Note: The Appendix A out of service tank inspection report indicates tank T-2 is 93'-0" inside diameter. On at least two other occasions T-2 was field measured to be 95'- 0" inside diameter. Field verify the exact tank diameter before procurement of tank materials.) 2) One 24” diameter hooded roof vent located at the center of the tank which is being replaced with a new 16" diameter goose neck vent by this project. 3) One roof access hatch with 36” x 36” inside dimensions, located adjacent to the roof access platform and ladder near the perimeter of the tank.
