A Facilitator will be hired to implement the Youth Rites of Passage (YRP) Project. This project will include outreach and engagement of 25 QTBIPOC+ youth grouped according to age (7-11, 12-17, 18-26). Participants will engage in age-appropriate discussion groups about navigating daily stress, conflict resolution and dialogue; selfcare classes that include hygiene, healthy eating, and the celebration of body changes; and hands-on workshops including plant identification, journaling, drumming, and crafting. The Facilitator will meet progressively with LACDMH from planning through implementation of the project to ensure that the development aligns with current Department branding efforts. The Department reserves the right to ensure that the Facilitator implements the project in a manner that complies with DMH advertising/branding principles. Once the content and any other materials have been completed, LACDMH must approve the final products. LACDMH holds the right to provide edits and/or recommendations, and the Facilitator must adhere to this and accommodate suggested changes.
