It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe the framework for comprehensive workforce development services and activities to increase the education, educational skill attainment and employment of eligible youth and young adults in an effort to improve the quality of the workforce, reduce dependency on public assistance programs, increase digital skills, foster economic self-sufficiency, and enhance work experience activities for marginalized youth and young adults ages 16 -24. Awards will be for a 12-month contract period (with option to renew for three additional fiscal years contingent upon availability of funds and contract performance) to the successful bidder(s) selected whose response conforms most closely to the RFP and meets the Alameda County’s contracting requirements.
