C. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF WORK The respondent should provide the following information in response to this Request for Information. 1. Background Information 1.1. Background The Administrative Office and the Budget and Fiscal Office (“Offices”) are seeking to improve their operational efficiency and align their processes with industry best practices. The aim of this RFI is to identify consultants capable of providing comprehensive training in process improvement methodologies, including the possibility of certifications, to enhance the effectiveness of these Offices. The Offices currently employs of 7 full-time employees. Lancaster County currently employs approximately 1,000 full-time-equivalent employees. 1.2. Current Business Practices/Environment Currently, both Offices operate under legacy workflows with limited structured training in process optimization. The goal is to transition to a more efficient and streamlined approach that supports organizational objectives and stakeholder needs. 1.3. Goals and Outcomes a. Identifying consultants who can deliver tailored process improvement training programs. b. Exploring certifications that align with recognized process improvement standards (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). c. Gaining insights into best practices for structuring and delivering effective training. d. Acquiring knowledge and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of County practices, enabling the implementation of streamlined workflows and improved service delivery
