Description of Services Professional services may be required in the areas of: • construction inspection • geotechnical evaluation • structural evaluation • design of electrical systems • design of water distribution systems • design of wastewater collection / treatment infrastructure • hydraulic modeling of water and wastewater • storage tanks / protective coating systems • programming of telemetry systems • surveying • architectural design of buildings and facilities • right-of-way / easement acquisition • other related areas. Professional services by a firm of certified public accountants to include: • Audits of the June 30 financial statements of the business-type activities of the Water Department and the Sewer Department, component units of the City of Rogers, Arkansas, and the related notes to the financial statements in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States and in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. • Audits of compliance applicable to major federal award programs in accordance with the requirements of the Single Audit Act and the Uniform Guidance. • Certain nonattest services: o Adjusting or correcting journal entries to be reviewed and approved by management. o A draft of the Water Dept and Sewer Dept financial statements and related notes. o A draft of the Water Dept and Sewer Dept schedule of expenditures of federal awards. o Preparation of a federal audit clearinghouse submission.
