Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, tools, etc. necessary to provide the following services as described below: 1. The City is utilizing the Security Guards as a visual deterrent to crime and the criminal element. Guards shall maintain high visibility, answer routine questions for directions and handle minor problems. 2. Security Guards shall always be in full uniform during the shift. The Contractor shall ensure that each security guard knows its uniform guidelines. The City may request for the Contractor’s uniform guidelines at a later time. 3. When the equipment is provided by the City, the Security Guards shall properly utilize the City’s security equipment and shall be responsible for its safeguarding. The Contractor shall be liable for any damages made to City equipment, not including normal wear and tear to the equipment. 4. Security Guards shall wear mobile communication devices (e.g. cell phone, 2 way radio etc.) at all times to ensure constant communication with the guards' dispatch and the CITY. The Contractor shall provide the mobile communication devices, unless otherwise specified. 5. Security guards shall immediately report any significant occurrences such as, but not limited to, pilferage, burglary, fire, graffiti, loitering, unauthorized entry, entrapment in elevator, safety issues, broken glass or locks, water leaks, etc., to the CITY and must also enter the information on their Daily Activity Report (DAR). 6. The Contractor shall be responsible for training the Security Guards on their roles and responsibilities of the mutually agreed upon Security Plan. The Security Guards must be trained on their roles and responsibilities before they can begin working on the CITY's site. 7. All Security Guards shall be properly attired in a uniform and name tag to make them easily and readily identifiable as security guards. 8. The CONTRACTOR shall provide any necessary tools and equipment for enforcing the mutually agreed upon Security Plan.
