Task 1: Kick Off Meeting and Project Management 1.1: Vendor in collaboration with DEED will utilize full project lifecycle management to initiate projects through regular bi-weekly project management meetings. 1.2: Vendor in collaboration with DEED will develop goals, measurable objectives, timelines, and resources. 1.3: Vendor in collaboration with DEED will lead in the facilitation and discussion of a variety of researched topics with the DEED Reads Act Teams: Academic Support Team and the Teaching and Learning Team. Task 2: Conduct Strategic Planning Sessions Monthly with DEED 2.1: Vendor will assist DEED in developing a plan with goals for measuring success. DEED's current projects come from various programs supporting literacy in the state. These programs involve many projects and competing implementation schedules and deadlines. 2.2: Vendor will assist DEED in analyzing data and writing the annual report during monthly meetings. Task 3: Support Implementation of Strategic Plan and Support DEED In Meeting Technical Assistance and Support Needs for The Consortium 3.1: Vendor will research other State Education Agency (SEA) programs for information as agreed upon in the project management and/or strategic planning meetings. Potential research may include investigation of regulations, practices, and/or delivering professional development with coaching support for educators. 3.2: Vendor will facilitate connecting DEED with other SEAs who are involved in similar projects. For example, introductions, facilitate discussions, and/or documenting correspondences. 3.3: Vendor will collaborate with DEED on developing a handbook and/or guidebook through identifying essential content items and/or writing sections as agreed upon in the strategic planning meetings. 3.4: Vendor will collaborate with DEED on developing a method for qualifying vendors for Highly Qualified Instructional Materials and for student courses by reviewing applicable methods and processes from other SEAs.
