Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Montana State University Procurement & Contract Services is considering a request from the Center for Biofilm Engineering, to award a Sole Source contract to Symcel, Inc. for CalScreener and CalScreener+. The determination of this Sole Source purchase is based on the following requirements: Description of Service or Product required: microcalorimeters Specific requirements that are required for this project: Microcalorimeters that can perform experiments at a wide temperature range (22-37 degrees C) and has the ability to handle 10-35 samples with a small instrument footprint. A determination by the University not to compete this proposed purchase based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the University. If evidence presented reveals that more than one source is available to provide the product/services, the University may issue a competitive solicitation. If no evidence is presented in the timeframe specified, the University may proceed to award a contract to Symcel, Inc.
