This project requires geotechnical drilling and analysis of 30 Acres from 15 holes at 80’ deep. This project is located at Tanana Flats Training Area part of Fort Wainwright. The area has been cleared and is in the process of being grubbed. If necessary the consultant will be required to cooperate with and coordinate the sequence of work with Green Stone Station during their grubbing operation. Representative samples for geotechnical index testing are to be collected and analyzed by the consultant. Applicable geotechnical index tests include moisture content, organic content, relative density, particle size distribution, and Atterberg limits. The consultant will provide water table elevation from four holes that based upon the geotechnical and topographical data to best provide the low, mean, and high-water marks measured over the course of the investigation. Permafrost depth and classification will be provided for each boring.
