Using a social determinants of health framework, the Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) is seeking to support healthy aging activities in senior centers across the State of Delaware. This mini-grant program will support local senior centers serving individuals with the greatest economic and social needs to complement other funding, including Delaware Grant-in-Aid. A Senior center should consider using community needs assessment resources to help them identify what healthy aging programs may best impact their communities that they serve. This award must be used to expand on an existing activity, or to develop a new activity to directly support healthy aging in their communities.
