The Plan will address the elements required by NED CDBG-DR Housing Resilience Program. The plan components will include but not be limited to: - Data collection and analysis for a housing assessment to predict climate disaster risk including flooding and wind damage risk delineated by geographic districts and factor in housing structural vulnerability to predict damage and loss. - Creation of a housing land-use map or multiple scenario maps that show the desired location and types of housing to meet the need more resiliently by working with density and housing types. 3 - Development of a housing loss reduction plan focused on limiting damage and loss with changes to where and what type of housing is built along with improvement to jurisdictional building standards and the enforcement of building standards with specific actions to increase resilience. - Engagement of community stakeholders, municipal staff and elected officials, and community members through outreach activities to provide education about the plan, obtain input from those who will be impacted, and provide long-term, ongoing programs to promote resilient land use and construction practices. - Prepare pre-approved housing development plans for priority target areas that will meet local building requirements and include stormwater and engineering designs Initiate and identify sources of funding for both mitigation and recovery...
