Santaquin City is seeking to hire a qualified firm to provide architectural design services for two new City building facilities. Project 1: New recreation building will be an approximately 6,000 sq ft (100 ft x 60 ft) pole style building. This building will be located at approximately 200 South and 400 West and will be directly south of the existing Santaquin Recreation building. The completed recreation building will provide an area for recreational programing for various Community Service programs (e.g.: Dance classes, martial arts, fitness courses, etc.). The recreation building will include the design of the building floor plan, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire, and insulation to the applicable building codes. Additionally, the design will include all the necessary site improvements, which include, but are not limited to, grading, drainage, utilities (water, sewer, stormwater, etc.), and access. A geotechnical study must be conducted for the site for drainage design and footing design requirements. Project 2: New cemetery equipment and materials storage building will be approximately 3,600 sq. ft. (60 ft x 60) ft pole style building and will be located at 259 South 100 East.
