Herriman City is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced insurance brokers to provide comprehensive insurance services. The selected broker will be responsible for delivering expert benefit advice, support with HR risk management, and the placement of insurance coverage to meet the needs of our City. III. Purpose of the RFP Herriman City is requesting proposals for an insurance broker to: • Analyze our existing insurance program and provide recommendations on benefits that will be cost effective and are seen as a retention and wellness benefit to our employees. • Partner with Herriman City HR to create a 5-year plan to help employees make smarter insurance decisions and keep claims below market average. • Partner with Herriman City HR to provide options and plans to strategically reward and motivate employees in making beneficial heath decisions. • Provide tools for local market information and transparency which allows employees to make smarter insurance decisions. • Provide an online insurance enrollment system to support annual open enrollment, new employee enrollment, employee benefit changes and ACA reporting and submission. • Ability to create professional open enrollment guides and willingness to provide digital and printed versions for employees. • Generate insurance usage reports to consult and provide recommendations on claims management. Provide recommendations and advocate for beneficial renewal rates and options.
