The Contractor shall provide all supervision, materials, equipment, labor, and all other items necessary and assume all responsibility for the efficient, safe and dependable collection of all garbage, recyclables, and yard debris from all residents and small businesses within the Town of Lexington. Solid Waste shall be collected under the following conditions: Scheduled once per week curbside trash pick-up shall be provided to each residence/small business. Scheduled bi-weekly recyclable pick-up shall be provided to each residence. Scheduled once per week curbside yard debris pick-up shall be provided to each resident. Loose limbs, so long as limbs are no bigger than four (4) inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet in length. Collection of furniture and other large items shall be once a month on a designated day agreeable to the Contractor. Residents are required to notify the Town at least two (2) days in advance of the collection if they need service that month. Collection shall be provided on a regular schedule approved by the Town Administrator which shall provide for collection of solid waste five times per week and yard waste five times per week, as per current schedule.
