INTRODUCTION/DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT/SERVICES: The City of Lee's Summit is seeking proposals from qualified firms/providers to: ❖ Independently audit the City’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. ❖ The successful respondent has the potential to provide auditing services for the City for a total of four subsequent fiscal years. Description of Operations or Background: The City of Lee’s Summit serves an area of 66 square miles with a population of over 106,000. The City of Lee's Summit has a July 1 – June 30 fiscal year. The total budget, net of interfund transfers, was $397,536,214 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024. The City is currently evaluating two new nonprofit entities that could potentially be reported as component units.
