The Idaho Department of Fish & Game (IDFG) is requesting Quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of Dock Gangways (Gangways) as further detailed below. he following Specifications are the minimum that IDFG is willing to accept. Gangways = Four (4) each 1. Size - Must be four (4) feet wide by twenty-four (24) feet long. 2. Material - Constructed of 6063 T5 grade aluminum or equal. Truss and frame design. 3. Handrails - Must be constructed of 6063 T5 grade aluminum or equal. Must be an upright and cross beam profile and placement must be appropriate for connection points with other docks and gangways. 4. Hinge - Connection points on the dock and abutment ends of the gangway must be made with two (2), corrosion resistant half (1/2) inch stainless steel pins through sleeves, or equal hinge system. 5. Roller(s) – Must have a low-profile roller system on the dock end of the gangway. 6. Transition Plate - One (1) each - Constructed of 6063 T5 grade aluminum or equal. Must be four (4) feet wide by thirty (30) inches in length by one quarter (1/4) inches thick. Transition plate must connect to gangway by a hinge system. Transition plate to incorporate UHMW slide material. 7. Decking – Must allow light to pass through and have a non-skid surface. (Ecograte (MS62) by Fibergrate or equal.) Must be attached with Stainless steel fasteners. 8. Abutment/Ramp Bracket – One (1) each – Must be a galvanized steel hinge design and four (4) feet in length.
