Assist KSDE with meeting personnel responsibilities under IDEA and ESSA to provide an adequate supply of teachers and related service providers for students with disabilities and provide equitable student access to qualified staff by deploying evidence-based recruitment and retention strategies a) Increase the capacity of district administrators, including special education, to effectively recruit and retain quality teachers of students with disabilities, special education professionals and related service providers. b) Refine, create and provide tools and resources; c) Coach district leadership in implementation of effective staff recruitment and retention strategies. d) Provide support to Kansas districts, schools and educators through continuous 24/7 hosting, operation and maintenance of the current Educate Kansas online recruitment hub.
