The project consists of recycling (crushing) the existing concrete stockpile at the Solid Waste Department facility. The pile is assumed to contain 6,100 tons of material. The material will be crushed to 1-1/2” or minus, steel removed, and stockpiled at the facility. All material, including filtered steel, will remain on site. 1. The bid will be for recycling (crushing) the entire stockpile, which is assumed to contain 4,500 tons of material. 2. The project shall be completed and closed out within 30 calendar days of the “Notice to Proceed.” 3. The contract will be a lump sum contract. One (1) pay request shall be submitted after final project approval from the owner. SPECIFICATIONS Crushed to 1-1/2” or minus. Steel to be removed/filtered and remain on site. All recycled (crushed) material to remain on site. Stockpile is assumed to contain 6,100 tons.
