POWER LIFT GATES RFQ736 Tommy Gate model G2-60-1342-ea38 or equal installed and at a minimum must consist of the following: Lift Gate One thousand three hundred (1300) - pound capacity; Load area fifty five (55) inches X thirty eight (38) inches aluminum tread plate platform, with six (6) inch taper; Dual hydraulic cylinders; Platform torsion assist spring; Pump, cylinder and electrical enclosure; Recessed control box; Transfer and recalibrate (Original Equipment Manufacturer) OEM rear camera and backup sensors and; Must include stop/tail/turning/reverse and license plate (Light Emitting Diode) LED light kit. Electrical All necessary electrical wiring for a fully functional liftgate; Electrical wiring must be securely fastened and located away from all pinch points; Electrical wiring must be clamped and held in place using stainless steel rubber-insulated, bolt-on cushion clamps; Electrical wiring must be pass through bulkheads must be protected with either rubber or neoprene bulkhead wire protectors and/or body grommet type insert and; Electrical wiring and components (relays, fuses and/or breakers) must be heavy duty marine grade quality. Location of these items must be described in an electrical schematic provided with each vehicle. Cabling Must be multi-conductor marine cable; Must be adequate size to handle the anticipated loads of all electrical components. All cabling must be uninterrupted and complete with no splice; All wires and/or cable terminal ends must be crimped, soldered, and sealed with polyolefin heat shrink tubing. Scotch-Loc fasteners, crimp butt connectors, and wire nuts are not acceptable for any connections; Weather pack connections must be protected with dielectric grease and; Wire to lamps must be stress relieved within six (6) inches of the lamp.
