CAMS System Requirements: 1. Must be a cloud-based system that works on all browsers with no installation needed by content creators or students consuming the content. 2. Content must be centrally managed by the organization and not owned by individual users (i.e., not located within individual user accounts). 3. System and content must be compatible with PC, Mac, Chromebooks and all modern browsers. Content must be responsive to the learner’s device size and width. 4. Content created using the CAMS must perform well for learners who have slow or reduced bandwidth. 5. Must include a variety of assessment options, such as, but not limited to cloze/fill in the blank questions, sorting/categorization questions, matching questions, flashcards with images, graphing, categorization, short answer with customized feedback, writing questions with instructor feedback and ability to request revision, and image hotspots with image labeling. 6. Must have differentiated user roles for content creators, teachers, and program administration to view, review, and approve content developed in the CAMS. 7. Tool must be designed for K-12 institutions and have 5 years of demonstrated experience in working with and delivering content for K-12 institutions with a similar size and scope to VirtualSC. 8. Supports the creation of lessons and practice activities that meet the Quality Matters K-12 Rubric Standards for Course Design. 9. Must be easy to revert to previous versions of the content. 10.Content authoring must be able to develop math content with built-in equation editor. 11. Provide access to consume developed content to approximately 60,000 students annually with no restrictions on viewing and engaging with the content. 12. Provide content authoring access for the programs Curriculum staff that includes 25 full time content creators and developers. 13. Provide full teacher access to all content hosted by the CAMS to approximately 200 Instructional staff and Instructional support staff employed by the program. Integration Requirements: 1. Must be able to seamlessly host and deliver content using LTI 1.1 or 1.3 through the program’s Learning Management System (LMS), Moodle – the CAMS cannot use only Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) or an Application Programming Interface (API) as a method for packaging and delivering content within an LMS. The system must be able to provide Single sign-on (SSO) and autoprovisioning of content creation via the LTI. 2. CAMS vendor must be a member of 1EdTech (IMS Global) 3. Content viewed and completed by students in the CAMS must include a seamless integration for the student, grade pass back to the LMS (Moodle), auto provisioning of teacher accounts and courses 4. Ability to import Question and Test Interoperability (QTI) quizzes. Accessibility Requirements: 1. The CAMS must author and deliver content that meets all accessibility requirements for students with disabilities, to include, but not limited to: Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA compliant, fully keyboard accessible, supports multiple languages on one page, and supports text to speech. CAMS vendor must supply a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) outlining the CAMS product meets the program’s minimum requirements for accessibility and compliance with accessibility laws. 2. Authored content must automatically create accessible transcripts or descriptions, where applicable. 3. Authored content must auto generate accessible alternatives for activities to meet the recommendations of Universal Design for Learning and provide choice for the learner, ensuring those students with disabilities can use a mobile device, keyboard, or screen reader to view content. 4. Must seamlessly integrate with ReadSpeaker, text-to-speech assistive technology.
