The Department of Health, Division of Public Health, Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is seeking a contractor to provide support services to the Alaska Active Transportation Coalition. In years 1-8 of the contract, the contractor will provide coalition support services to State of Alaska Project Team. This may include, but not be limited to: scheduling monthly virtual meetings, sending meeting agendas to coalition members prior to meetings, managing monthly meeting technology, taking meeting notes, conducting postmeeting follow up with coalition members (e.g. sending notes, summarizing action items, etc.), and providing special project assistance as needs arise and budget allows. The Department of Health, Division of Public Health, Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is also seeking planning and travel support assistance for Alaska’s Alaska Walkability Action Institute with this contract. In year 1 of the contract, the contractor will provide travel planning and logistical support to approximately 20 rural Alaskan participants to attend a 2-day in-person Alaska Walkability Action Institute in Anchorage in the spring of 2025 (tentative month of training: April or May 2025). Contractor must follow state of Alaska travel protocol (e.g. reimbursement rates, etc.).
