The selected vendor will provide early childhood development and family support services in alignment with the needs identified by the New Orleans Health Department (NOHD). These services should enhance and extend existing programs like Family Connects New Orleans and address the gaps in services for children beyond infancy, focusing on ages birth to 4 years. Core services include: Access to play-based learning centers for families with young children. Access to a family resource hub that provides a welcoming environment where parents and caregivers can connect with community navigators and resources to help their young children flourish. Parenting education workshops and support groups focused on reducing parental stress, improving child development knowledge, and fostering nurturing environments. Specialized programs like breastfeeding support, infant massage, and "HUG Your Baby" to continue nurturing the early development of newborns and young children. The vendor must provide these services at least two locations, ensuring accessibility across diverse neighborhoods, including underserved areas of New Orleans.
