The successful firm shall provide a comprehensive assessment of our IT/app development function and develop a strategic roadmap. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. IT/App Development Organizational Assessment ○ Conduct a thorough assessment of the current IT/app development structure, applications, processes, technology, staffing, and staff capabilities. ○ Engage employees throughout the organization to access their knowledge of current systems and workflows, identifying gaps in understanding or areas where additional training is needed. ○ Evaluate application systems’ reliability in terms of uptime, interoperability amongst the applications used throughout the organization, and inherent accuracy i.e. the extent that we manually manipulate files to accommodate limited functionality. ○ Evaluate alignment of IT/app development priorities with business functions and strategy. ○ Identify gaps in skills, policies, processes, and technology that may hinder organizational growth. ○ Conduct an audit of manual processes and workarounds currently in use to identify opportunities for streamlining and automation. ○ Evaluate the levels of IT/app development support and training across the organization to ensure consistency and effectiveness. 2. Roadmap and Strategy Development ○ Develop a comprehensive IT/app development roadmap based on the assessment findings including recommendations for an ongoing stakeholderinvolved process that facilitates periodic updates as needs and priorities change. ○ Provide strategic recommendations to optimize IT/app development function alignment with business goals. ○ Identify immediate, medium, and long-term actions and milestones. ○ Provide a timeline for recommended actions, highlighting priority areas and quick wins.
