A. Kick-off meeting with MSDE Office of Multilingual Education to discuss project (within ten (10) business days of contract execution. B. Create a toolkit or guidebook with guidance and best practices for programming, instruction, and assessment for SLIFE. i. The guidebook should have approximately 20 pages that includes the state definition of SLIFE, screening tools, and best practices for administrators and teachers supporting SLIFE. (submit to MSDE for review) ii. The document should include formatting and graphics in MSDE template iii. The document must meet MSDE’s accessibility requirements. C. Meet with MSDE and stakeholder focus group for feedback D. Complete and format SLIFE Toolkit and ensure accessibility; submit to MSDE for review in editable format, and in final for acceptance. E. Close-out meeting with MSDE Office of Multilingual Education
