Services the City is seeking are: 1. A contractor who can provide on-call services for guardrail and end treatment installation and maintenance based on costs established through a local contract. 2. A contractor who can provide the requested services as part of a multi-year contract with annual inflationary adjustments built in. 3. The ability of the contractor to provide services in a timely manner and without delay that could potentially impact public safety. 4. A contractor that will be responsive to the changing needs of a city experiencing growth through development around transportation. 5. A contractor knowledgeable of the Federal Highway Administration’s traffic control policies, the AASHTO manual, the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) regulations as they pertain to guardrails and end treatments.
