Task 1: Initial Project Staff Meeting & Start-Up The consultant shall meet with the Town of Old Saybrook Town Planner, and Consulting Engineer, and the Town of Westbrook Town Planner, (hereinafter referred to as “Project Staff”) to discuss the contract terms, detailed scope of work, project workplan/timeline, and any concerns either party may have before work begins under the following tasks. Task 2: Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) A QAPP will be developed in accordance with the required terms and conditions of the Town’s National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) grant agreement including all quality assurance requirements set forth in the NFWF LISFF QAPP Development Guidance found at https://www.nfwf.org/programs/long-island-sound-futuresfund/quality-assurance-project-plan-development-guidance . Deliverables: EPA-approved QAPP Task 3: Public Meetings and Presentation of Investigation Results The consultant will host three meetings: (1.) A project kick-of meeting describing the investigation’s objectives and methods; (2) mid-project meeting describing efforts/results to date including unanticipated issues potentially complicating the Investigation and how they will be addressed; and (3.) presentation of the investigation results prior to issuance of final reports. Deliverables: Public meeting summaries including responses to public comments and Investigation work plan modifications, as warranted.
