Provide vegetation removal and large-scale fuels treatment using heavy equipment on identified high priority areas of approx. 125 acres of private properties in the McKenzie Valley. 1. Site Assessment: A preliminary assessment will be completed in partnership with McKenzie Fire & Rescue’s Defensible Space Coordinator. The assessment will include a detailed analysis of topography, vegetation, and existing structures. 2. Mitigation Planning: a. Develop a comprehensive wildfire mitigation plan tailored to the specific characteristics of the site. b. Propose strategies for fuel reduction for the egress and 100’ immediately surrounding identified structures. c. Integrate state-of-the-art technology and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the mitigation plan.
