Scope of Services Tasks and scope of services to be performed during the design, construction, and commissioning phases will include but not be limited to the following items: Design Phases: (Performed at an Hourly Rate on a not to exceed basis) 1. Assist the Owner to ensure the Design-Builder promptly progresses through each phase of design and promptly completes the construction documents in accordance with the design-build agreement between Owner and Design-Builder. 2. Review and recommend payment of all design and preconstruction related invoices pertaining to the Project 3. If required, assist the Owner in obtaining the services of other consultants and vendors not within the scope of the design-build agreement between Owner and Design-Builder. 4. Coordinate Owner provided consultants and vendors with the Design-Builder for the Project 5. Assist Owner, Owner’s other consultants, and the Design-Builder in obtaining regulatory approvals from authorities with jurisdiction. 6. Assist the Owner, the Public Safety Facility Building Committee and/or the Town’s Finance Director in preparation of Project budgets, and proposed construction phasing. 7. Provide general review of the Design-Builder’s design documents for scope and general compliance with the Owner’s program. 8. Monitor the progress of the design phase and Project milestone design submissions from the Design-Builder and the Owner’s other consultants. 9. Coordinate all third party testing as may be necessary. 10. Assist the Owner in the selection of Owner consultants and vendors. 11. Attend design progress meetings. 12. Assist the Owner in the submission of documentation that may be required to obtain Project funding and/or reimbursement. 13. Provide the Owner with periodic reporting on the status of the above items. 14. Facilitate communications with and amongst the Project Team.
