Exterior Soffit Lighting Remove approximately 14ea exterior soffit fixtures and ballasts. o See Appendix A for existing condition. Replace with approximately 14ea New LED canopy lights, in kind. o See Appendix B for Technical Specifications – Canopy Lights – Basis for Design o See Appendix E for Amtrak Electrical Standard Design Practices. Exact number of fixtures to be replaced will be determined at the job walk. Contractor shall make proposal per Amtrak Standards to maximize output with minimal fixtures and use existing wiring system. Interior Lighting East Waiting Room o Three rows of three double tube fixtures. Retro fit to LED or replace, in kind, with new LED fixtures. Furnace/Server Room o Three sets of double tube fixtures. Retro fit to LED or replace, in kind, with new LED fixtures. Ticket Office o Two rows of two double tube fixtures. Retro fit to LED or replace, in kind, with new LED fixtures. o Add dimmer switch. Employee Break Room o Two rows of two double tube fixtures. Retro fit to LED or replace, in kind, with new LED fixtures. Baggage/Garage Room o Upgrade lighting to LED, in-kind. Men’s and Women’s Restroom o One triple tube fixture and one can/down light. Retrofit to LED or replace, in kind, with new LED fixtures. o See Appendix C for existing conditions. o See Appendix E for Amtrak Electrical Standard Design Practices. Contractor shall make proposal per Amtrak Standards to maximize output with minimal fixtures and use existing wiring system. NOTES: Exact number of existing light fixtures to be removed/replaced will be determined at the job walk. Contractor to dispose of all removed light fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and other materials/construction debris resulting from the removal of the old fixtures & lamps in accordance with the North Dakota Hazardous Waste Program and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Contractor to provide site specific photometric diagram per lighting manufacturer specifications to ensure compliance with Amtrak standards. Final fixture color and style choices must be approved by the Facilities Development Manager prior to procurement. Any surfaces that are damaged or discolored due to the removal of existing fixtures will need to be painted/repaired/replaced to match the surrounding surfaces.
