The Hawaii State Department of Health, Communicable Disease and Public Health Nursing Division, Harm Reduction Services Branch, STI Clinic is requesting proposals from qualified applicants to provide STI medical services as Clinic Physician and as Clinic Physician/Laboratory Technical Supervisor, at the Department of Health's STI Clinic located at the Diamond Head Health Center, 3627 Kilauea Avenue, Room 305, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816. These services are provided at the STI Clinic during clinic hours of 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, Hawaii Standard Time (HST), Monday through Friday, except State holidays. Medical services include but are not limited to medical STI examinations, laboratory processing of specimens and point of care testing, treatment of STIs, harm reduction counseling, referral for auxiliary services, and partner notification and referral. In addition to the Clinic Physician responsibilities, the Laboratory Technical Supervisor position will perform additional duties that may require work outside clinic hours.
