Item 1 – Low Profile Raised Pavement Markers _____1.1 Dimensions: The items shall be 4 inches long by 4 inches wide by 0.75 inches in height. 1.2 Color: The item shall be available in the following colors: White and Amber. 1.3 Finish: The items shall have a glossy finish. _____1.4 Reflectivity: The items shall have at least 1.6 square inches of reflective area on opposite sides visible to traffic. _____1.5 Installation: The items shall be self-adhesive or peel and stick that adheres to pavement and concrete. _____1.6 General: Product similar to that shown below in FIGURE A. Item 2 – Temporary Speed Table (14 Feet) 2.1 Dimensions: The Temporary Speed Table item shall: _____ 2.1.a. Be between 3 and 4 inches, maximum height. _____ 2.1.b. Be at least 144 inches (14 feet) in length in direction of travel. _____ 2.1.c. Have several units that assemble to variable widths to fit roadways up to 24 feet wide. _____ 2.1.d. Have a flat surface at the crest of the table, parallel to the road surface and traffic flow, at least 10 feet in length. _____ 2.1.e. Have a travel slope gradient between 1:25 and 1:8. _____ 2.1.f. Edges parallel to travel way shall have a tip down. _____ 2.1.g. One item is considered a system of units assembled to make a Temporary Speed Table of 14 feet in length and up to 24 feet in width. 2.2 Road Attachment: The Temporary Speed Table item shall: _____ 2.2.a. Be anchored in such a way that units will be held in place until deliberately removed. _____ 2.2.b. Not cause damage to existing road surface upon installation and removal (inpavement anchors if required are not considered damage). _____ 2.2.c. Not move from a set position with traffic movements. _____ 2.2.d. Be relocatable without the need for replacing main components (in-pavement anchors if required are excluded from this requirement). 2.3 Durability: The Temporary Speed Table item shall: _____ 2.3.a. Show no damage or deterioration after 2 million passenger car cycles. _____ 2.3.b. Be made of weather resistant materials. _____ 2.3.c. Have a tensile strength of at least 500 PSI _____ 2.3.d. Have a hardness of at least 70A 2.4 Markings: _____ 2.4.a. Items shall be colored/ marked in such a way as to make them visible to approaching drivers in all light conditions. _____ 2.4.b. Markings shall meet MUTCD requirements for type and shape. _____ 2.4.c. Markings/ coloring shall be reflective. _____ 2.4.d One of the available colors of the Temporary Speed Table shall be black. _____ 2.4.e. Reflective marking colors available shall include white.
