The Office of Legislative Management on behalf of the Connecticut General Assembly is soliciting proposals for roof maintenance and repair services at the State Capitol Facilities and the Old State House. The State Capitol Facilities is defined to include: the State Capitol Building, located at 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut, as well as the Legislative Office Building and Legislative Parking Garage, located at 300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut. The Old State House is located at 800 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut. The following is the Scope of Work that the CGA anticipates including in the Contract with the awarded respondent. B.1.1 General Work The awarded respondent shall perform the following work in accordance with Attachment A upon Contract award: (a) Provide On-Call Roof Repairs as described in Section B.1.2; (b) Provide Emergency Repairs as described in Section B.1.3; (c) Provide Semi-Annual Maintenance as described in Section B.1.4; (d) Correct any identified deficiencies in order to increase the effectiveness and extend the life expectancy of the roofing systems; and (e) Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform all authorized on-call, emergency, and semiannual maintenance and repairs at the State Capitol Building, the Legislative Office Building, the Legislative Office Garage, and the Old State House in accordance with specifications outlined in this RFP.
