Ambulance design that is or simulates the rear, patient compartment. A new Fabrication, or refurbished ambulance patient compartment may be utilized. The design will have rear stretcher loading capability, and rear and side doors similar to that of a Type I or Type III ambulance. The patient compartment should have a minimum of 325 cubic feet of space less compartment configuration. The compartment configuration shall provide at least 25” of unobstructed space at the head of the cot, measured from the face of the backrest of the EMS Provider seat to the nearest edge of the cot. The compartment will provide a clear walkway between the cot and base of the nearest vertical feature measured along the floor. The compartment shall provide a minimum of 60” height over the cot area, measured from the floor to the ceiling. This compartment will be on a trailer with a 2 5/16” ball hitch for moving the simulator. Exterior shall have a vinyl wrap. A graphic design concept will be provided by BCC.
