The selected grantee for the E-Rate technical assistance and training is responsible for a comprehensive range of services aimed at supporting LEAs in Tennessee with their E-Rate program needs. The selected grantee is tasked with providing E-Rate outreach, training, and technical assistance to LEAs. This includes coordinating state-level E-Rate initiatives, representing Tennessee's interests before E-Rate policymakers and program administrators, and providing training to State-identified staff. The selected grantee will be responsible for developing and conducting at least one (1) in-person, full-day training session in each of the three (3) grand Tennessee regions (East, Middle, and West Tennessee). These sessions will be customized for school personnel who are new to the E-Rate program and include comprehensive training materials that cover all aspects of the E-Rate program, such as competitive bidding, vendor selection, discount calculations, application for funds, discounted billing, and reimbursement processing.
