Fencing Components a) Panels for fence will be four (4) rails, eight (8) feet long, and eight (8) feet high. Gates will be three (3) rails, eight (8) feet high, and lengths as specified elsewhere within this document. b) Aluminum material for fence framework will conform to the requirements of ASTM B221. c) Aluminum extrusions for posts and rails will be Alloy and Temper Designation 6005-T5. d) Aluminum extrusions for pickets will be Alloy and Temper Designation 6063-T52. e) Manufactured framework will be subjected to a thermal stratification coating process including, as a minimum, a six-stage pretreatment/wash, and an electrostatic spray application of a polyester finish.
