The work is to update and modernize the Hydraulic elevator located at The Citadel, Watts Barracks. 1.2 The elevator should be modernized with new non-proprietary equipment to manage the operation between Four (4) floors with speeds of 150 FPM with a carrying capacity of 4500 pounds and travel the distance of approximately 40 ft. verification must be accomplished by bidder. 1.3 Items to be modernized: Car, Hydraulic Pump unit, Control systems, fixtures, signal features, Doors, door operator’s, safety limit devices and wiring. 1.4 Bidder must also modernize any equipment needed for the mechanical room to include doors, ventilation openings and temperature control to meet or exceed and meet current standards. 1.5 This bid will be a “Turnkey” modernization. It will be the bidder’s responsibility to include all costs required for this modernization. Completion of this project will be achieved upon receipt of a certificate of operation. 1.6 The modernization of this elevator will be started and completed between May 5th, 2025, and July 15th, 2025, with the delivery of a certified elevator on or before 07/15/25.
